Includes VPS hosting + a few auto-managed hosting stuff (e.g DO's App Platform)

Importantly, this is not an exhaustive list. This tries to include VPS offerings that are up to roughly ~20ish USD monthly (ideally $25 max). This will sometimes include ones that are at a much higher price, usually only because the platform only offers a few plans, so it's easy to list all of them here. Hopefully others find this useful :-)

As always, it's important to do your own research for other factors such as the hosting service's quality of customer service support, etc.

Notes#

• Units stuff:
  • Currency listed is mostly in USD (a few are euro such as Hetzner). Sorry non-US based folks!
  • Monthly pricing will include hourly cost if the original site includes one.
  • Storage unit is listed as-is from the official hosting websites, e.g DigitalOcean uses GiB, Hetzner uses GB.
• The term transfer here is considered as bandwidth/traffic included.
• Hostinger offers billing cycles at 1 month, 12 months, 24 months, and 48 months.
• Microsoft Azure Machines offers VPSes for Linux + Windows.
  • Their pricing is pretty heavily region-based.
  • Pay-as-you-go plans start off relatively cheap (w/ Bps v2, Bs v2, and Bas v2 starting between approximately $6/mo to $8/mo in the Central US), but sharply increases after for higher spec'd instances.
  • For Bps v2, Bs v2, Bas v2 instances: they sell managed disk storage separately (standard SSD, standard HDD, premium SSD).
• At the time of writing this snippet, in terms of whats included:
  • Amazon Lightsail: Doesn't include all offerings.
  • DigitalOcean: Doesn't include all droplet offerings. Does include all App Platform offerings (only 2 plans available).
  • Hetzner: Doesn't include all offerings.
  • Hostinger: Includes all offerings (only 4 plans available).
  • Linode: Doesn't include all offerings.
  • OVHcloud: Includes all offerings (only 6 plans available).
