plyr.fm is an audio streaming platform built on atproto, the open protocol behind Bluesky and BlackSky. sign in with your handle (sometimes called your internet handle) and start listening.
your first 5 minutes#

sign in — go to plyr.fm, click sign in, and enter your handle (e.g.
you.bsky.social)

find a track — browse the feed to see what's playing

or hit
Cmd+Kto search for something specific

play it — click any track to start streaming

like it — click the three-dot menu on any track and hit "add to liked". your like is stored as an atproto record you own

build a playlist — click "add to playlist" from the same menu, name your collection

that's it. your likes, playlists, and listening data are yours — stored in your personal data repo, portable to any atproto app.
what you get#
- stream audio — music, podcasts, sound art, whatever creators publish
- like, comment, and build playlists — all stored as atproto records in your PDS
- timed comments — leave reactions at specific moments in a track
- jams — create shared listening rooms and listen with friends in real time

leaving#
you can leave plyr.fm at any time. your atproto records stay on your PDS by default, but you can choose to delete those too. for the full technical details, see the offboarding documentation.
