janky on macos i didnt really think this through

i dont know why this is causing issues now and this is very hacky but it fixed it

maybe should move this to common later
mainly using this instead of the desktop app since i've had issues with the desktop app and its compatible with tailscale ssh

it should already garbage collect automatically i think
